Alecia is the founder of Awakened, a space born from a lifelong journey of spiritual discovery, creative expression, and a deep desire to bring people together. Her vision is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: none of us should have to navigate the deeper waters of life alone.

Her love for photography began at just nine years old, and by fourteen, she had already opened her first business. Her spiritual journey began early as well, shaped by a natural curiosity about the unseen, a desire to understand the world around her, and an awareness that her experiences of spirit were different from those of many around her. Over the years, that curiosity grew into a lifelong path of learning, exploration, and spiritual devotion.

Today, Alecia is a Reverend, Reiki Master, published author of A Spiritual Empath’s Little Book of Secrets, and photographer. Her varied passions reflect the many ways she seeks to understand, express, and share the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

Awakened grew from her desire to create a welcoming space where people could explore their spirituality, share their experiences, exchange knowledge, and find meaningful connections with others who understand. A place where curiosity is encouraged, differences are respected, and no one feels they must have all the answers to belong.

Alecia believes that spiritual growth isn’t always a journey filled with light. Sometimes, it means finding your way through uncertainty, sitting with difficult truths, and learning to see yourself with compassion when life feels heavy. During those moments, knowing someone else understands can make all the difference.

Her hope is that Awakened becomes a place where people feel at home, find encouragement for their own spiritual journeys, and discover that even in their darkest moments, they are not alone.

As Alecia often says, “All of the greatest teachers taught love.” It is a philosophy she carries into her work and the community she hopes to nurture—one rooted in compassion, understanding, acceptance, and the belief that we all have something meaningful to learn from one another.

Because sometimes, the most profound part of awakening isn’t discovering something new about yourself. It’s discovering that there are others walking beside you, and that even in your darkest moments, there is still a reason to keep reaching for the light.

Becka is an Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), and a Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) Practitioner, as well as a Reiki Master. As a natural empath she is passionate about helping others heal and find clarity. Becka's intention is to hold a safe and compassionate space where client's feel supported on their journey of self-discovery and transformation. She believes that true healing comes from within and is honored to help guide others as they reconnect with their inner wisdom and highest potential.

Heather is a 200-hour certified and registered yoga teacher, completing her training in 2019. She completed her Reiki training and became a Reiki Master in 2025. In addition, in 2025, she completed training in the NADA acupuncture protocol and is available for auricular acupuncture and/or ear seeding. She completed Trauma Informed Breath Work training in 2026. 

She is passionate about helping others be well and live a life they love. Wellness comes from within. To achieve this, we need balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Sometimes we need tools to assist with our growth and wellness journey, and she can help by providing some of those powerful mechanisms. Everything she does begins with love and she wishes to provide a space that supports emotional healing, calms the nervous system, and moves the body into a state of rest where one can truly relax, breathe, and heal.

Native Cherokee by blood, she brings her natural connection with the earth to life with custom crystal wraps and artistic designs. She has poured love into our shop since its conception and with every paint brush stroke as we prepared for our grand opening.

Declan is, first and foremost, a life-long student. Because of their desire to learn and understand, they have often been sought out for their wisdom and guidance. They love to share their knowledge and empower others to live as their most authentic selves. You'll often hear them say, "Authenticity is the currency of the day." 

A bit of a spiritual renegade, Declan doesn't adhere to any one religion or faith. Their spiritual practice mirrors their personhood: A little all over the place. Declan believes that Truth can be found in all places, and it all boils down to one core concept for them: In a world where you can be anything, be kind. 

Declan is a fierce advocate for marginalized communities, and they're quick to stand up against injustice. An out and proud member of the Queer community, they are determined to help make the world a safer, kinder place for upcoming generations.
